Kenmare Special Needs Group back in the saddle

After a long break during Covid we are delighted to be able to welcome the Kenmare Special Needs Group back in the saddle. It brings such joy to the children to be able to spend time with the ponies. We are lucky to be able to accommodate a variety of disabilities due to our gentle horses and ponies.
We are also lucky to have a great group of volunteers that give their time helping with the riding for people with disabilities.

Round pen upgrade

Feb 2021 saw our round pen being upgraded from sand to rubber

Small arena upgrade January 2021

January 2021 saw an upgrade of our small arena to a new railing and new rubber equestrian surface.

New arrivals

Dromquinna Stables had some new arrivals in April/May 2021 Loretta, Leona, Paloma and Delilah all had beautiful colt foals.

New arena surface

2017 brings a new surface in our all weather arena. We have decided to work with Munster Tyre Recycling and try out crumb rubber.

The horses love it as it adds added bounce to the arena and makes jumping very nice for horse and rider.
